Carved from a piece of salvaged miro this piece represents a feather from the iconic tui bird of New Zealand. Recently these birds have been repopulating the green areas around The Brown Bach Studio as a result of local pest control and re-vegetation of the surrounding area. This piece measures 47 x 10 x 1 cm, is painted with acrylic and is ready be wall hung indoors.
