This huia feather has been hand carved from salvaged rimu timber and lacquered with acrylic paint. Huia feathers are a revered object in Maori culture and an admired object in contemporary NZ culture. This piece is fitted with a tri-ring and is designed to be hung indoors. Carving is light in weight, measures 40 x 8 x 1cm and has been finished with a beeswax polish. 

Avoid display in full sun or near heat, use a soft cloth to dust.
