The Kahu or Swamp Harrier Hawk is New Zealand’s most common and largest bird of prey. Often Kahu are seen gliding over open plain and roads in search of prey and food in the form of road kill.

This flight feather as been hand crafted from salvaged matai timber and painted with naturalistic colours. Piece measures 46 x 8 x 2cm, is fitted with a d-ring for easy hanging indoors and is finished with a bees wax polish.
