The Kererū, or native wood pigeon, is another of New Zealand’s most treasured birds. They are large, rotund pigeons that may be found in the foliage of large trees around the North Island including in the back yards of Kiwi homes. The feathers of the Kererū have a subtle iridescence and are coloured grey-green-purple.

This flight feather has been individually hand crafted from salvaged rimu timber and finished with deep purple-green paint to achieve a subtle colour change effect. tri-ring installed on the rear and the feather is ready to hang. This feather measures 50 x 8 x 1cm. See options for gifting.
