The kea is a colourful and intelligent parrot inhabiting the alpine regions of New Zealand. This carved kea flight feather is made from salvaged matai timber and durable acrylic paint, it measures 48 x 7 x 1cm.

The carving is fitted with a tri-ring for easy hanging. Not suitable for display outdoors, near heat or in full sun. Use a soft cloth to dust when necessary. This piece has been individually hand carved and painted by Claire Jensen in Taranaki, New Zealand.
