The native wood pigeon of kererū is a large, rotund bird with captivating multi-coloured iridescent feathers. This carving has been modelled from a moulted feather found close to my studio. It is a lesser wing feather and is predominantly a beautiful emerald green colour.

Feather measures 44 x 8 x 1cm and is fitted with a d-ring for easy hanging indoors. Best displayed away from direct heat or sun, use a soft cloth to dust.
